विलक्षण है हर क्षण—जानें-जीएं

Summary

Success is achieved by those who live each moment with wisdom and determination, ready to advance through every struggle. A person who engages in every task with vigorous effort finds the door to success always open. Just as a massive banyan tree is hidden within a small seed, success lies dormant within our own personality. Those who pass each moment with awareness, save their own time, and respect others' time, find success at their feet. Conversely, those who do not value time and waste others' time face uncertain paths to success. Individuals with a regular routine save time for themselves and others, remaining conscious of their duties. A story illustrates this: U.S. President George Washington's secretary arrived late to the office, blaming his slow watch. The president warned him to either change his watch or he would change his secretary, prompting the secretary to become punctual forever. Time flows continuously like a river; those who understand its value make every moment extraordinary, turning time into a blessing. Great figures like Gandhi, Vivekananda, Albert Einstein, and Acharya Tulsi became immortal by moving with time. Saint Kabir advised not to postpone today's work for tomorrow, as one never knows what the future holds. A parable reinforces this: a villager had a shiny stone in his shop, priced at 100 rupees. A customer hesitated and planned to buy it later, but another customer purchased it for 1000 rupees, realizing its value. The first customer was left with regret. Living fully in the present is essential for progress; those lost in past memories or future fantasies may find temporary happiness but not lasting joy. Lord Mahavira stated in the Acharanga Sutra that a wise person knows the present moment. What is to be achieved is available only in this moment; the past is mere memory, and the future mere imagination. To savor each moment, it must be lived meaningfully, or time itself will consume its essence. The Dashavaikalika Sutra advises performing every task at the right time. Proper time management, as emphasized in Jain monastic codes, divides day and night

Conclusion

The document underscores that success is not a matter of chance but a direct outcome of disciplined time management and present-moment awareness. It argues that individuals who value each moment, maintain a regular routine, and act decisively without procrastination are the ones who achieve lasting significance, as illustrated by historical figures like Gandhi and Einstein. The text warns that neglecting timely action leads to missed opportunities and regret, while those who harness their willpower to plan their days—like the Jain monks with their structured schedules—unlock their full potential. Ultimately, the core implication is that mastering time through conscious, purposeful living is the key to personal growth and meaningful accomplishment.
