स्वास्थ्य चेतना के संवाहक

Vol. 55 · No. 07July - 2007pp. 51-52Hindi

Summary

According to Acharya Shri Mahapragya, health consciousness is far more important than health itself. To awaken health consciousness among people, he created timely health-related literature from his inner wisdom, including works such as "Pahla Sukh Nirogi Kaya," "Tum Swasth Rah Sakte Ho," "Mahavir Ka Swasthya Shastra," and "Aamantran Arogya Ko." Through experimental experiences during his sadhana period, he discovered health formulas and conducted experiments that can be adopted as alternative medicine to keep oneself physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy. Acharya Shri Mahapragya was a prominent figure in the spiritual tradition of Lord Mahavir, achieving numerous spiritual accomplishments through his extraordinary wisdom and extrasensory knowledge. He lived spirituality practically in his life and performed many tasks with infinite directions, speeds, and goals. As a proponent of anekanta, he had the ability to solve every life problem based on this principle. He successfully commented on the thoughts and philosophies of three era-defining personalities, connecting spirituality with science. When examining his comprehensive thoughts, he appears as a skilled psychotherapist, an Ayurvedacharya, and an expert in body science. His health concepts are presented as complementary to the modern medical world. In Preksha Dhyan camps, qualified and specialist doctors experience this. If Preksha Dhyan principles and experiments are used as alternative medicine, many natural benefits can be achieved. For mental health, he presented seven formulas: balance of life force, proper breathing, proper diet, pacification of anger, release of tension, self-examination, and lifestyle change. His literature on the nature of mind, its states, types, functions, and the relationship between mind and consciousness is rare elsewhere. He had comprehensive knowledge of Charak and Sushruta Samhitas and was both a knower and user of Ayurveda. His entire Preksha literature serves as guidance as an alternative medical system, awakening health consciousness among people.

Conclusion

The document establishes that Acharya Shri Mahapragya's work offers a practical, holistic health system rooted in spiritual practice, with significant implications for modern medicine. His emphasis on "health consciousness" over mere physical health provides a framework where individuals can maintain physical, mental, and emotional well-being through alternative therapies like Preksha Dhyan. The outcomes are profound: his writings function as a bridge between ancient wisdom and contemporary science, offering validated techniques for stress management, mental health, and disease prevention. By integrating principles from Ayurveda, psychology, and physiology, his approach presents a viable complementary medical system. Ultimately, the document suggests that adopting his health sutras could lead to widespread health awareness, reduced reliance on conventional treatments, and a more self-reliant, balanced approach to human wellness.
