On January 31, 2009, a Shreshtha evam Vishisht Sabha Samman Samaroh was held, awarding the Shreshtha Sabha award jointly to the Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabhas of Mumbai and Bangalore, with a prize of Rs. 1,00,000, and the Vishisht Sabha award to the Asind Sabha, with a prize of Rs. 31,000. The 95th Annual General Session took place on February 1, 2009, at Shri Sangh Oswal Panchayat Bhavan, Bidasar. The annual report and financial accounts were presented and approved. The event concluded with recognition of the organizing committee.
