The Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Mahasabha held its 93rd annual session in Gangashahar from January 22 to 24, 2007, coinciding with the 143rd Maryada Mahotsav. On January 22, a gathering and felicitation ceremony was held for selected best assemblies and recipients of Sambodhan Alankaran awards. The Terapanthi Sabha of Bengaluru and Chennai were selected as best assemblies, while the Terapanthi Sabha of South Howrah and Gulabbag were selected as distinguished assemblies. A panel including Sukhraj Sethia, Dr. Manju Nahata, and Dr. Shanta Jain judged the selection. Mahasabha President Rajkaran Sirohia delivered the welcome address. The Sambodhan Alankaran ceremony took place on January 23 at the Maryada Samavsaran site in the presence of Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji, Yuvacharya Shri Mahashramanji, and Sadhvipramukhashri Kanakprabhaji. Sponsors Surendra Bachhawat and Magilal Chhajed were honored. The Gyanashala award ceremony was held the same evening at Bafna Academy campus under Yuvacharya Shri Mahashramanji's guidance. President Sirohia awarded prizes for best and excellent Gyanashalas, best trainers, best students, and senior trainers. Certificates were given to top performers in the trainer training project from the past three years. The Mahasabha's general body session on January 24 began with a mangalacharan. President Sirohia welcomed members and highlighted the year's achievements.
