Summary

Acharya Shri Mahaprajna was born in Tamkor village on Ashadh Krishna 13, VS 1977 (14 June 1920). At age ten and a half, he was initiated by Kalugani in Sardarshahar. Acharya Tulsi entrusted his spiritual development to Muni Tulsi. He quickly mastered Sanskrit, Prakrit, grammar, philosophy, logic, and poetry. Acharya Tulsi appointed him as Agrani in VS 2001, Sahayapati in VS 2004, and Nikaya Sachiv in VS 2022. He was named successor and installed as Yuvacharya in Rajaldesar in VS 2035. Acharya Tulsi relinquished his position and directed Mahaprajna to assume the role of Acharya in Sujangarh in VS 2050. His formal installation occurred on 5 February 1995, creating a unique historical event. He spent 10 years as a householder and 80 years as a monk, including 49 years as a Muni, 15 as Yuvacharya, and 16 years and 3 months as Acharya. He was a renowned philosopher and author, known as the 'Radhakrishnan of Jain logic'. He wrote 'Anuvrat ki Darshanik Pृष्ठभूमि' and promoted the Anuvrat movement. He revived the 'Preksha Dhyan' meditation system and was called the 'Columbus of Jain meditation'. He conceived 'Jeevan Vigyan' as an innovative educational project. He led a seven-year Ahimsa Yatra in his ninth decade to promote non-violence and moral values. During this, he developed a four-part Ahimsa training model and the concept of relative economics. He organized inter-religious dialogues and international seminars. He edited Jain Agamas under Acharya Tulsi's guidance.
